Help Desk Integration with Microsoft 365
Connect Your Help Desk to the Tools You Already Use
SimplifyIT works with Microsoft 365 - not against it. Use Outlook to send ticket alerts, SharePoint or OneDrive to share documentation, and Entra ID to control access. No need to recreate accounts or migrate anything.
What's Integrated?
- Outlook: Send ticket alerts or responses directly to staff inboxes
- Entra ID (Azure AD): Secure login and role-based access to tickets
- SharePoint: Link internal policies or IT documentation inside tickets
- OneDrive: Link to shared troubleshooting files or install packages
Why Microsoft 365 Integration Matters
Your staff is already using Microsoft 365. Instead of forcing a switch, we let your help desk work within that ecosystem - securely, and with zero duplication.
Common Questions
Do we need a full Microsoft 365 license to use this?
No. You can use any combination of Microsoft 365 tools - like Outlook for alerts or Entra ID for login. Full licensing is not required for help desk functionality.
Can users log in to the help desk with their Microsoft credentials?
Yes. SimplifyIT supports secure Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) login, so staff can access the help desk with their existing Microsoft 365 credentials.
Can help desk tickets be linked to SharePoint or OneDrive files?
Yes. You can paste secure SharePoint or OneDrive links into tickets, responses, or documentation. Access is governed by your existing Microsoft 365 permissions.
How do help desk alerts work with Outlook?
Ticket updates can be automatically emailed through your organization's Microsoft 365 Outlook system - including new ticket alerts, responses, and escalations.
Is Microsoft integration optional?
Yes. The help desk runs independently. Microsoft 365 integration is available but not required.
