Case Study: Dynamic Onboarding Automation
How one financial institution transformed their onboarding process with fully dynamic tasks and conditional logic.
The Challenge
This client's onboarding process was complex and manual. While SimplifyIT could already create tasks based on role selection, a client had never requesed that unique tasks be triggered from yes/no prompts. This meant the system had to review the entire submission for a single unique keyword - creating bottlenecks and extra follow-up work for this FI.
The Solution
After a Thursday meeting with our team, we released a major enhancement by the following Tuesday: yes/no prompts could now independently trigger unique tasks.
- 'Yes' responses could instantly create follow-up tasks
- 'No' responses could skip tasks or trigger alternative ones
- Role-specific tasks were still fully supported
- Edits to prompts or roles updated tasks automatically without duplication
The Impact
The result was a faster, cleaner onboarding process. Managers no longer had to chase incomplete checklists or manually assign follow-up tasks - everything was triggered automatically and tracked in SimplifyIT's audit-ready logs.
"This is so exciting that we're getting onboarding to work the way we wanted. Thank you SO much for all your help!"
Why It Matters
Conditional prompts and dynamic tasks aren't just convenient - they reduce errors, shorten onboarding time, and provide full visibility for compliance. This client now has:
